Pagu is a PDF tool. Our principle is simple: your files are processed only on your device, and we collect no data.
Files: Opening, editing, compressing, encrypting, converting to Word, text recognition (OCR) and scanning all happen on your device. Files are never uploaded to any server.
No personal data: Pagu has no accounts and contains no ads, analytics or tracking code. We do not collect, sell or share any personal data.
Signatures: Signatures you draw are stored only in the app's data folder on your device and are removed when you delete the app.
Camera: Used only when you choose "Scan document", to photograph pages; images are used only to create the PDF and are never uploaded.
Text recognition: Uses the system's on-device recognition (Apple Vision / Google ML Kit).
Purchases: Payment for Pro is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Pagu never receives your payment details; it only learns whether Pro is unlocked.
Children: Pagu does not collect information from children.
Changes: If this policy changes, this page will be updated with a new effective date.
